What is Disk Spoof?

Disk Spoof is a method that changes the disk's unique identifier (disk serial), making it effective for bypassing hardware bans. The disk spoofer generates an ISO that you burn to a USB drive to create a bootable spoofing USB. Booting from that USB changes the disk identifier.

Warning

The disk is initialized during the Disk Spoof process, so all data may be lost. A single mistake can cause all data to be lost, so make sure to back up.

Pre-Setup Checklist

  • [ ] Disk spoofer downloaded
  • [ ] Rufus downloaded
  • [ ] USB flash drive ready (8GB or larger recommended)
  • [ ] All data backed up

Disk Spoof Setup Steps

1. Download the Disk Spoofer

Download the disk spoofer file.

2. Run the Spoofer and Select from the Menu

  1. Run the downloaded spoofer.
  2. Select Disk Spoofer from the spoofer's menu.

3. Select the disk.bin File

Select the downloaded disk.bin file.

4. Wait (ISO Generation)

Wait until the process is complete. When it finishes, an ISO file is generated.

5. Burn the ISO to USB with Rufus

  1. Run Rufus.
  2. Select the generated ISO file.
  3. Select the USB flash drive to burn to.
  4. Click [Start] to burn the ISO to the USB.

Ventoy option

If Ventoy is already installed, you can proceed with Ventoy instead of Rufus. Just copy the generated ISO file to the Ventoy USB.

Duration

ISO generation and USB burning may take 10-30 minutes depending on your system. Do not disconnect the USB while it is in progress.

Post-Disk Spoof Setup Precautions

Disk Spoof = Custom Windows installation

Disk Spoof is the process of installing the custom Windows provided by us. Booting from the Disk Spoof USB installs the custom Windows along with the disk serial change. Therefore, no separate Windows reinstall is needed after Disk Spoof.

Important

The existing Windows will no longer boot, and all data is erased during installation. Please back up your data beforehand.

After Disk Spoof setup is complete:

  1. Boot from the Disk Spoof USB you created — disk spoofing and the custom Windows installation will proceed.
  2. Once the installation is complete, the PC boots into Windows automatically.
  3. Verify that the disk serial has changed (e.g., in Device Manager).

Completion Checklist
